a first ever and exclusive to rough trade...concerned that there was too long a gap between their eponymous debut and a new album in 2007, the band conceived of "the blank album"...you buy the cd from us with nothing on the disc (but all the other things you'd expect with a new album)...a special code allows you access to a website where you can listen to 30 plus tracks of new material, b-sides, remixes and outtakes...you can then choose your own 25 tracks to download or opt for the band's recommended selection..simple, brilliant!...oh and what do they sound like? they describe themselves thusly: "imagine if peek period prince had relocated paisley park to a subterranean studio below london bridge and enlisted tony hancock as a writing partner" and who are we to disagree!
