+/- (ex-members of versus) specializes in dynamic, loud, radiohead-ish indie-rock & simultaneously laptop-pop. experimentation with interesting time signatures & negative space within a hooky hard pop structure. here, they take on three bloodthirsty butchers songs & make them their own. bb was formed in sapporo, hokkaido, japan in 1987. with their ultra loud almost emo, heavy alterna-rock, transparent & melodious sounds, they are now one of the best band that japan can boast to the world. the two bands became fast friends while touring japan & decided to record this split ep. each band covers three of the other%u2019s songs. artwork by famous japanese illustrator yoshitomo nara. enhanced with live video footage of both bands on stage in japan.
