another winner on bella union, peter broderick produces beautiful introspective songs in the same vein as bon iver and fleet foxes but using his background in composing he manages to add all manner of choral flourishes and complex arrangements that add a real richness to the recordings and with vocals remincent of the late elliot smith this is surely a contender for one of the albums of the year. stunning
