something in construction is very proud to announce a new signing. from ontario, canada, called the rest, they walk an bunnymen / arcade fire sort of line and are aiming very much for the big music. from the cold hard 6am staring at the mirror of 'drinking again' to the ohmigod-i-have-superpowers explosions of 'walk on water', every song is a gem. and as a seven piece with a huge array of instruments on stage they stir up such a blistering sandstorm in that pursuit, that it is impossible not to be caught up and join in. they are one of those bands that convert audiences wholesale and leave all jaws dropped. innovation! they finance the band through the noble art of making and selling beer at their own self promoted shows at home and they raised enough cash to make their album 'everyone all at once'. something in construction and rough trade have decided on a unique pricing structure for the album. the first 50 copies will be 99p. the next 50 will be 1.99. the next 50 2.99. etc.
