this very limited-edition 12" (1000 copies) is only available at friendly fires own all-night 'friendly fires present...' event at london' coronet theatre on friday 11th december, and in a handful of specialist stores in very limited numbers. 'on board' originally featured on friendly fires' eponymous debut album, which this year was nominated for the mercury music prize and has recently been certified double gold (200,000+ sales). the band have reworked the track for this new 'on board (pig bag version)' which features on side a of the release. side b sees joakim stepping up to remix 'on board' to stunning effect. it follows a string of brilliant remixes by the parisian-based producer for the likes of cut copy, simian mobile disco, annie, alter ego and dj medhi.
