if you pre order 'latin', you will also receive a bonus cd 'ghost' with four extra tracks. holy fuck have always been masters of the groove, the fact that said groove is largely improvised only serves to prove just how special they really are. with this their third album they have not only honed their unique sound but have discovered a dance floor sensibility that will keep you absolutely riveted throughout its 9 tracks. beats that are almost industrial in there abrasiveness combine with all manner of home made pedals and modified keyboards that doesn't sound a million miles away from the second fuck buttons album (if they had a live bass player and drummer that is). all this makes for a thrilling first listen but the bands trump card is just how melodic and memorable the tunes are which means you can keep on going back for more without ever getting bored. this is essential stuff for sure and sure to be in many a rough trade staffers top ten come the end of the year.
