Description
Greg Freeman was barely finished with his breakthrough album, Burnover, before he started writing its follow-up, All Set The Bone. Burnover drew wide critical praise, landed on The New York Times Best Albums of 2025 list, and earned Pitchfork’s coveted Best New Album tag.
On All Set The Bone, Freeman leans into friction rather than smoothing it out. Built through scant rehearsal time and urgent, self-appointed deadlines, the record came together fast, then was completed in a real Hollywood studio with one of modern rock’s sharpest architects, John Congleton.
