Akercocke

Akercocke is a British Death Metal band with influences from Black Metal, Progressive Rock, and Electronic music. Formed in 1997 in London, England by David Gray and Jason Mendonca, the band has gained attention for their controversial use of sexual and satanic imagery and themes.

Despite a period of hiatus, Akercocke surprised fans with a reunion in 2016. They released a new song titled 'Inner Sanctum' on YouTube and announced their first UK tour since reforming. Their new studio album 'Renaissance in Extremis' is set to be released in 2016, marking their first release in nine years.

With similarities to artists such as *Anaal Nathrakh*, *Melechesh*, and *Zyklon*, Akercocke continues to push boundaries within the metal genre while captivating audiences with their unique blend of influences.
