Brant Bjork

Brant Bjork is a renowned musician hailing from Palm Desert, CA. He began his musical journey at the young age of 13 and quickly made a name for himself in the local music scene. In high school, Brant co-founded the influential band Kyuss with fellow musicians Josh Homme, Chris Cockrell (later known as Nick Oliveri), and John Garcia. After leaving Kyuss in 1993, Brant moved to Humboldt before returning to his roots.

Back in Palm Desert, Brant started his own independent record label called El Camino Records, which later evolved into Duna Records (now defunct) and then Low Desert Punk Records. Throughout his career, he played drums in the hardcore punk band De-Con and guitar alongside desert legend Mario Lalli in Fatso Jetson.

In 1996, Brant reunited with Josh Homme to embark on The Desert Sessions saga and work on what would become Queens Of The Stone Age. However, Brant decided to take a different path and joined forces with his surf buddies Fu Manchu instead. This adventure led him to record five albums with Fu Manchu and tour around the world for four years.
