Die Krupps

Die Krupps is a German post punk/industrial/EBM/metal band that was formed in Düsseldorf in October 1980 by Jürgen Engler and Bernward Malaka. The band's sound has evolved over time, incorporating elements of noise, EBM, industrial, and metal. In the mid-1990s, Die Krupps embraced a more metal sound, influenced by Metallica and even recording covers of their songs.

After a hiatus from 1997 to 2005, Die Krupps returned to the music scene with renewed energy. The current key personnel of the band include Jürgen Engler, Ralf Dörper, and Marcel Zürcher. Throughout their history, Die Krupps has seen various changes in its lineup but has maintained its unique musical style.

Die Krupps' influential sound has drawn comparisons to other notable artists such as Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Leæther Strip, Laibach, Nitzer Ebb,and KMFDM among others.
