Eagles is an American rock band that was founded in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner, and Don Henley. The band's original lineup consisted of Glenn Frey on guitar, Bernie Leadon on banjo, mandolin, electric guitar, and acoustic guitar, Randy Meisner on bass, and Don Henley on drums. Over the years, the band has had several changes in its lineup with notable members including Joe Walsh on guitars, organ, and vocals and Timothy B. Schmit on bass and vocals.
