Edgar Jones

Jones is an English musician from Liverpool. He formed The Stairs, a band with influences from the sixties era and genres such as English Beat, Garage Rock, Blues Rock, and Psychedelic music. As the vocalist and bassist, he collaborated with Ged Lynn on rhythm/lead guitar and Paul Maguire on drums. Jones also founded The Isrites and The Big Kids, which included members who would later form The Zutons. Throughout his career, he has worked with renowned artists like Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, Saint Etienne, and Lee Mavers.

Throughout his musical journey spanning several decades, Jones has been part of various bands including The Stairs (1990–1994), The Isrites (1997–1998), The Big Kids (1999–2001), Edgar Jones & The Joneses (2) (2003–2008), and The Edgar Jones Free Peace Thing (2008–2010).

With his diverse range of collaborations and contributions to different musical projects over the years, Jones has established himself as a respected figure in the music industry.
