Joey Beltram

Joey Beltram, born on 6 November 1971 in Queens, NYC, USA, is widely recognized as a pioneering force in the early development of underground dance music. Starting his DJ career at the age of 12, he quickly transitioned from playing electro and hip-hop to embracing house music when it first emerged in Chicago in 1985. In 1989, while working as a courier, Joey began releasing his own productions on various small New York record labels. His talent caught the attention of R & S Records in Belgium by mid-1990, leading to the release of his breakthrough record "Energy Flash." Throughout the 90s, Joey continued to create timeless music for cutting-edge labels and eventually formed STX Records in 1999 under both JB³ and Joey Beltram.
