Leon Russell

Leon Russell was an American musician and songwriter, known for his work as a session musician, sideman, and solo artist. He was born on April 2nd, 1942 in Lawton, Oklahoma and passed away on November 13th, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee. With a career spanning decades, Russell released numerous albums and even collaborated with his then-wife. His talent earned him induction into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.
