Lowell George

Lowell George was an American guitarist, songwriter, and singer. Born on April 13th, 1945, he made significant contributions to the music industry before his untimely death on June 29th, 1979. Throughout his career, Lowell performed with various bands including *the Factory* and *the Standells*. He also featured with the GTO's and was a member of Frank Zappa's early line-ups. However, his most notable achievement was founding the band Little Feat.

Lowell George's musical talent extended beyond playing guitar; he was also a skilled songwriter and vocalist. His unique style drew inspiration from various genres such as rock, blues, country, and folk. With his band Little Feat, Lowell created a distinct sound that resonated with audiences worldwide.
