Nashville Pussy

Nashville Pussy is an American hard rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Their music combines elements of hard rock, punk rock, Southern metal and psychobilly. Known for their songs about sex, drugs, drinking, fighting, and rock & roll, Nashville Pussy's music may not be considered traditionally "radio friendly" due to their explicit lyrics. The core lineup consists of Blaine Cartwright on guitar/vocals, Ruyter Suys on lead guitar, Ben Thomas on drums and Bonnie Buitrago on bass.

The band was initially called Hell's Half-Acre but later changed their name to Nashville Pussy after a reference made by Ted Nugent in his song "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang". Husband-and-wife duo Blaine Cartwright and Ruyter Suys are the driving force behind the band's sound. They have had a few changes in their bassist lineup over the years with Corey Parks being replaced by Katielyn Campbell who was then replaced by Karen Cuda.

With their unique blend of genres and unapologetic attitude towards explicit content in their music, Nashville Pussy has carved out a niche for themselves in the hard rock scene. Their energetic live performances and raw sound have gained them a dedicated fanbase worldwide.
