Son House

Son House was an American blues singer and guitarist, born on March 21, 1902 in Riverton, Mississippi. He is known for pioneering an innovative style of blues music that featured strong, repetitive rhythms played with the aid of slide guitar. His singing often incorporated elements of southern gospel and spiritual music.
