Syreeta was an American singer, songwriter, and recording artist signed to Motown. Born on August 3, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she made a significant impact on the music industry before her untimely death on July 6, 2004 at the age of 57 due to heart failure during cancer treatment.

During her career, Syreeta married the renowned musician Stevie Wonder from 1970 until 1972. She also had a short-lived marriage with Billy Preston. Her unique talent and soulful voice captivated audiences worldwide.
