Tommy Bolin

Tommy Bolin (August 1, 1951 – December 4, 1976) was an American guitarist and songwriter known for his contributions to rock and fusion music. He played with bands such as *Zephyr*, *James Gang*, and *Deep Purple*, while also pursuing a successful solo career and working as a session musician. Despite his talent, much of Bolin's discography remained unreleased or out of print until years after his untimely death at the age of 25 due to a drug overdose.
