Unsane

Unsane is a noise rock trio formed in 1988 in New York. The band consists of Chris Spencer, Vincent Signorelli, and Dave Curran. Originally, the lineup included Pete Shore and drummer Charlie Ondras, who tragically passed away in 1992. Unsane gained popularity with their hit song "Scrape" from their 1995 album. After announcing their permanent cessation in August 2019, Chris Spencer recently revealed a new lineup for Unsane NYC focused on performing their early material.

Their breakthrough came with the widely acclaimed track "Scrape," which received extensive airplay on MTV and remains one of their biggest hits to date.

In August 2019, Unsane announced an indefinite hiatus; however, fans were delighted when frontman Chris Spencer unveiled a fresh lineup via the band's Instagram page on August 27th, 2021. Joining forces with new members Cooper and Jon Syverson, Unsane NYC will be dedicated to delivering powerful performances of the band's early material.
