Seam

Seam was an alternative/independent rock band formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in 1990. The band released their first LP, "Headsparks" on Homestead Records in 1991. Afterwards, the band relocated to Chicago and signed with Touch And Go Records. They went through several line-up changes before releasing their final album in 1998. Seam reunited briefly in 2006 for a special performance.

The original members of Seam were Sooyoung Park (vocals, guitar), Lexi Mitchell (bass), and Mac McCaughan (drums). Over the years, they collaborated with various musicians including Bundy K. Brown, John McEntire, Craig White, Bob Rising, Reg Shrader, William Shin, Chris Manfrin, and John Lee.

Throughout their career, Seam released four albums: "Headsparks" (1991), "The Problem With Me" (1993), "Are You Driving Me Crazy?" (1995), and "The Pace Is Glacial" (1998). Their music showcased a blend of alternative rock and indie influences.
