Beat Goes Public is a UK-based soul, funk and jazz dance reissue label. The name of the label is derived from the initials of its initial label heads, Baz Fe Jazz and Gilles Peterson. However, it was later dubbed Beat Goes Public. In the early 1990s, Baz Fe Jazz and Gilles Peterson left the label, and Russ Dewbury took over for most of the 1990s. Currently, Dean Rudland is in charge as the label head.

The label has a strong focus on reissuing classic soul, funk and jazz dance music. With their extensive catalog of releases, they bring back timeless music to be enjoyed by new generations of listeners.

As an authoritative figure in the industry, Beat Goes Public has gained recognition for their commitment to preserving and promoting these genres. Their dedication to quality reissues ensures that fans can experience these iconic sounds with exceptional audio fidelity.
