The Looking Glass Studios, also known as Glass, was a renowned recording facility located in the NoHo neighborhood of lower Manhattan in New York City. Founded by the legendary musician Philip Glass, this studio served as both his personal workspace and a creative hub for other artists.

Although it is now closed, The Looking Glass Studios left an indelible mark on the music industry. With its state-of-the-art facilities and expert engineering team, it provided an ideal environment for musicians to bring their artistic visions to life. Not only did Glass utilize this space for his own projects, but he generously opened up the B-studio to allow other talented artists to record their music.

Under various name variations such as Looking Glass Studios, New York, NY, Looking Glass Studios, New York, USA, Looking Glass Studios, and Looking Glass, New York, this label has contributed immensely to shaping the sound of contemporary music. Although no longer operational, The Looking Glass Studios will forever be remembered as a sanctuary where creativity flourished and groundbreaking albums were born.
