Men I Trust
Men I Trust is an indie pop band from Quebec City, Canada. The founding members, Jessy and Dragos, met in high school and decided to collaborate on a French-Touch/Italo-Disco track. Their collaboration was so successful that they expanded it into a full project with multiple singers involved.
Between 2012 and 2016, Jessy and Dragos released music as part of their studies at Laval University's audio postproduction program. They aimed to develop a unique sound by mixing and mastering simultaneously, resulting in loud, large, and high-quality tracks.
In 2013, Odile joined the band after impressing Jessy and Dragos with her powerful classical singing voice. Her contribution to their first baroque essay became one of Men I Trust's highlights. Later on, Emma joined the band after catching their attention with her mysterious twist on vocals during a casual campfire performance.
The release of their first album "Men I Trust" in 2014 brought local success in Quebec and gained recognition on various charts. With the addition of Emma as a permanent member, the band achieved even greater success with their second album "Headroom" in 2015. They received widespread acclaim outside of Quebec through appearances on platforms like Hype Machine, Spotify playlists, and SoundCloud.
In 2016, Men I Trust performed at several notable events including Canadian Music Week (Toronto), Festival International
