NovaMute

novamute is a techno and electronica label that was founded in 1991. Originally run by Mick Paterson, Pepe Jansz, and Seth Hodder, the label started with 12" releases. In the early 90s, novamute partnered with Tommy Boy Music for their US releases, which featured a "NMCD" prefix on their catalog number. Later on, when Mute established its own North American office, the numbering series continued with the prefix changed to "NovaMute". The label is now displayed as novamute and has an impressive catalog of music.
