Positiva Records

Positiva Records is a UK label that was established in 1993 by Nick Halkes. It was founded after Halkes' success at London Records and a request from EMI. The label initially focused on house music but later shifted its focus to more mainstream dance music.

In 2012, Positiva Records became part of Virgin EMI Records following the acquisition of EMI by Universal Music. As of 2017, the Positiva trademark is owned by EMI (IP) Ltd., an intellectual property holding company under the direct control of EMI Group Ltd.

Throughout its history, Positiva has had notable staff members such as director *John Truelove*, A&R representative *Simon Dunmore*, and promotions manager *Jason Ellis*. With its impressive roster of artists and dedication to quality dance music, Positiva continues to be a prominent force in the industry.
