Linkin Park is an alternative/modern rock band hailing from Agoura Hills, California. They are known for being one of the most popular bands in the "nü-metal" movement, alongside other notable acts. With their debut album "Hybrid Theory," Linkin Park achieved immense success worldwide, selling over 30 million copies with 12 million sold in the US alone. The band was originally formed as Xero in the winter of 1995/96 but later changed their name to Hybrid Theory in 1999.
