Lucid Express are a group of five young dreamers from Hong Kong creating soaring, bittersweet gaze - soaked rock. The follow up to their 2021 self-titled debut album, Instant Comfort, is released via Kanine Records.

With Instant Comfort featuring their most intricately layered arrangements to date, Lucid Express enlisted shoegaze - auteur Kurt Feldman (The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Depreciation Guild) to mix and master – resulting in elevating the band's sound to its clearest and most exhilarating yet. 

Convening via Discord, Instant Comfort was shaped through marathon overnight trans - pacific sessions between the band in Hong Kong and Feldman in New York City — a shared quest for perfection playing out from midnight through sunrise. Infused with equal parts creeping melancholia and hopeful romanticism, disorienting feelings are embraced in these new songs.
