John Lee Hooker

John Lee Hooker was an influential American blues singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born on August 22, 1912 in Tutwiler, Mississippi, he made a lasting impact on the music world until his death on June 21, 2001 in Los Altos, California.

Hooker is best known for his iconic songs such as "Boogie Chillen'" (1948), "Crawling King Snake" (1949), "Dimples" (1956), "Boom Boom" (1962), and "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" (1966). His talent extended beyond individual hits as many of his albums achieved chart success in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

In recognition of his immense contributions to music, John Lee Hooker was rightfully inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1991 as a performer. His legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians worldwide.
