Happiest Place Records

Happiest Place Records is a record label founded in Växjö, Sweden in 2017. Now based in Gothenburg since 2018, this label has the ambition of only releasing the best expressions around. The story of Happiest Place Records began in 2016 when a group of DIY-promoters brought something new to the small town of Växjö. A one-off happening called Autodidaktik showcased mind-expanding culture and heavy drinking, featuring artists like Neutral, Blodvite, and Altar Of Flies. In the crowd that night was a young boy who recorded the gigs with his cassette recorder and released them on his own label as an effort to start a revolution in Växjö. Although the revolution was yet to show itself, Happiest Place Records was born.

The cassettes quickly sold out and Happiest Place set its sights on conquering the world!
