Season Of Mist

Season Of Mist is an independent record label and distributor, with offices in Marseille, France and Philadelphia, USA. Founded in 1996 by Michael S. Berberian, the label initially focused on releasing Black Metal, Pagan Metal, and Death Metal records. Over time, Season of Mist expanded its roster to include Avant-garde Metal, Gothic Metal, and Punk bands as well. Today, it is widely regarded as one of the top labels in the extreme metal scene.

Michael S. Berberian founded Season Of Mist while completing his studies in International Economics Sciences. Since then, the label has grown steadily under his leadership and now employs 17 staff members. In addition to being a record label, Season of Mist also acts as a distributor for other metal labels such as *Metal Blade Records*, *Spinefarm Records*, and *Napalm Records* within the French territory.

With subsidiaries in France and the United States, Season Of Mist continues to be at the forefront of promoting diverse genres within extreme metal music. From its humble beginnings releasing underground black metal albums to its current status as a respected authority in the industry, Season Of Mist remains committed to supporting talented artists across various subgenres of metal.
