Fourth Dimension

Fourth Dimension is a music label founded by Gary Levermore of Third Mind Records in 1983. However, it was later taken over by Richard Johnson (aka Richo) from Grim Humour fanzine after the first release. This label is dedicated to showcasing various genres of underground music, ranging from noise-rock and post-punk to Japanese noise, improv, abstract electronics, and so-called 'outsider' music. With its DIY sensibility, Fourth Dimension continues to thrive alongside Richo's other labels - Lumberton Trading Company and Winter Hill Recordings. In addition to his occasional Adverse Effect journal and his groups Splintered and Theme, Fourth Dimension has also ventured into publishing books.
