GNP Crescendo

GNP Crescendo, also known as GNP Crescendo Records, is a US label and distributor that was launched around 1962. Previously known as Gene Norman Presents from 1954 to 1956 and as GNP from 1956 to 1962, the label has a rich history in the music industry. Initially focused on jazz, GNP Crescendo expanded its repertoire to include a wide range of popular music after its founder, Gene Norman, sold his night club in 1963 to concentrate on the label. The label is particularly renowned for its specialization in soundtracks from science fiction films and television series. Notably, it released *The Beach Boys* in the 60s.

The distinctive logo of GNP Crescendo features bold white letters on a red background along the top perimeter. Over time, the design evolved to incorporate horizontal wording at the top. With their extensive catalog of releases and dedication to quality music production, GNP Crescendo has become an authoritative presence in the industry.
