Ruthless Records

Ruthless Records is a renowned music label that was founded by rapper Eazy-E and manager Jerry Heller. It served as the home for pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A., whose records were distributed through Priority Records. The label saw success with acts like JJ Fad, The D.O.C., Michel'le, Above The Law, and Kokane. In 1993, Ruthless severed ties with its previous distributors and joined forces with Relativity, introducing a new era of artistry with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Following Eazy-E's passing, the label was sold to Priority Records and later became a subsidiary of Capitol. After a brief period of inactivity, Ruthless Records was relaunched in late 2015 by Eazy-E's widow.
