Seelie Court
Seelie Court is an English label specializing in releasing Archival Recordings from 1965-1978 by British and Irish Artists. Their releases include genres such as Progressive Rock, Folk Rock, Psychedelia, Hard Rock, Experimental, and the wilfully eccentric. With a focus on preserving unique sources and previously unreleased material, Seelie Court brings a fresh perspective to the music scene.
Audio Restoration for their releases is carried out by several Specialist audio engineers, including work at Abbey Road. Previously, Reynolds Mastering was used until mid-2021. All pressings are made on the original E.M.I Presses in London where iconic Beatles LPs were once pressed. However, due to severe delays in pressings starting in 2022, alternative British presses have been utilized.
As a label that owns permanent rights to thousands of songs, Seelie Court steadily releases these treasures while also being home to the Copyrights in the Complete Works of Dark makers of the world's rarest rock LP. Specializing exclusively in vinyl records with CD versions available through their sub-label Seelie Court Digital; they maintain a commitment to environmental sustainability by avoiding shrinkwrap and unnecessary plastics as part of their standard policy. Mastering, Manufacturing, and Artwork are all proudly Made in Great Britain.
