Skin Graft Records

American noise-rock label Skin Graft Records was originally founded as a comic book company in Chicago by Mark Fischer with the support of his school friend Rob Syers. Their first publication, SKiN GRAFT COMiX #1, was released in 1986. A few years later, Dazzling Killmen approached Mark to do some comics for a 7-inch they were releasing, which marked the beginning of Skin Graft's venture into music. The label is known for its lavish packaging and has released highly acclaimed artists from all over the world including Zeni Geva, Melt-Banana, Ruins, Mount Shasta, The Flying Luttenbachers, Arab On Radar, Koenjihyakkei and many others.
