Spectral

Spectral Sound is a label that was formed in 2000 as the sister-label of Ghostly International. While Ghostly International moved towards more experimental and pop releases, Spectral Sound kept its focus on dance-floor roots and specializes in moody, leftfield techno/house music. The label showcases the talents of area artists such as Matthew Dear, Osborne, James Cotton, and Hieroglyphic Being. Spectral Sound has also collaborated with renowned producers like Germany's Reinhard Voigt and Pantytec, LA's David Alvarado, Virginia's Bryan Zentz, and NYC's John Selway. With a diverse range of releases from acid house workouts to glitched-out dub tracks, Spectral Sound strives to find the perfect balance between retro and future sounds.
