Domino is an independent label founded in Putney, South West London by *a694357* and his partner Jacqui Rice in 1993. The label initially focused on American acts such as *Sebadoh*, *Pavement* or *Royal Trux* before signing British acts in the late '90s.

The label operates a US division, located in Brooklyn, which output was initially identified by its own catalogue number schemes, DOMUS then DNO (used until 2013), when the releases handled by the UK headquarters are identified by WIG (albums) and RUG (singles and EPs) catalogue numbers.

The company operating the label, *Warp Records*, diversified, establishing a publishing arm and a series of labels (*Double Six Recordings*, *Weird World Record Co.*, *Rephlex*, ...).

Bill’s honesty through the album makes it so easily relatable, the record feels like more than a body of music – it’s an expression of raw emotion of a break-up on top of perfectly arranged layers. Every instrument maintains its own space and meshes with the other seamlessly. It’s nothing short of beautiful, I needed this album. Beautifully produced and rich in scope -&nbsp;Iechyd Da&nbsp;is Bill Ryder-Jones’ most ambitious record to date. At times joyous and grand, at others intimate and heartbreaking,&nbsp;the past few years spent producing other artists have provided that gentle nudge to expand into new territory, from kids choirs and tender strings to dramatically re-contextualised disco samples.

“It's been incredible making this,” he says. “Despite all the life stuff that's happened, it has brought me immense happiness. I've always railed against it when people ask if making a record is cathartic but I’d have to admit that this one really was.”
