Description

Gusstaff Records makes listeners accustomed to the fact that they cannot get used to it. In February 2024, the FIFIDROKI band's album "Figura dziks" will be released, a wild folk album with a touch of new wave and post-punk. The band's new material matured slowly over the course of several years. The roots are still in their Silesian homeland, but this time we can expect several fully original songs written by the band. It's still dirty, melodic, energetic and eclectic. It's also punk and folk, because it simply couldn't be otherwise. The whole is complemented by the appearance of hypnotizing and electrifying saxophone sounds, taking the listener to new spaces, created by the legend of Polish independent and jazz scene - Alek Korecki (i.a. Young Power, Tie Break, Brygada Kryzys). The album also includes a cover of Siekiera's "Nowa Aleksandria", of course in Fifidroki's style.
