Commissions from pianist Luke Howard and Goldfrapp’s Will Gregory. Including tracks from Max Richter, Björk, Anna Meredith, Philip Glass, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, James Blake. These tracks were refined in the studio collaboratively with the Jess Gillam Ensemble and many of the composers / arrangers themselves. Experimentation with sounds, with instruments such as Glass Harmonica, Bass Synth, Fender Rhodes piano and Bass Guitar woven into some of the arrangements. Where the Bee Dances was recorded at Abbey Road with the Aurora Orchestra and Nicholas Collon.
