After years as musical mainstay in Denim and Go-Kart Mozart with Lawrence, as well as stints as keyboard player for Death In Vegas, Duffy, McAlmont & Butler, Primal Scream and many more, Terry Miles indulges his love of boogie-woogie and gospel piano on this studio album recorded in 2021. A gaggle of guest contributors, family, friends and bandmates make up the studio band while Terry hammers out the gospel on a 110 year old grand piano. The result is an unselfconscious mix of Lieutenant Pigeon, Chas n Dave, the Wild West, and of course, good-rockin' church music. Selections include hymns, traditional religious songs, and a version of the theme to 70s Western series Alias Smith & Jones.
