Sound Affects is the fifth album by The Jam, first released in 1980. Weller's poetic and sarcastic wit combine with edgy but poppy tunes to make this album stand out.
There isn't a bad song on the album, with at least 3 songs ("Pretty Green", "That's Entertainment", and "Man In The Corner Shop") ranking among the best they've ever done. It's a top-notch album that deserves more notoriety than it receives.
