Adrian Sherwood
Adrian Sherwood is an English record producer, best known for his work with dub music and remixing popular acts such as Coldcut, Depeche Mode, The Woodentops, Primal Scream, Pop Will Eat Itself, Sinéad O'Connor and Skinny Puppy. He is the co-founder of Carib Gems and Pressure Sounds, as well as the founder of Hitrun Records, Green Tea and Sound Boy. Sherwood sometimes operates under the name "On-U Sound" and is also a member of industrial hip-hop outfit Tackhead. During the early 80's he brought together many Jamaican artists under the collective name of Singers & Players including Prince Far I, Mikey Dread and Bim Sherman.
His most well-known label is On-U Sound Records. As a mixologist for Tackhead, Sherwood contributed to their unique sound in industrial hip-hop. His collaborations with various artists have helped promote both individual musicians and record labels alike.
