Mark Knopfler

Mark Knopfler is a British guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was born on August 12, 1949 in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up in Newcastle, England. Mark is best known as the co-founder of Dire Straits alongside his brother David Knopfler. In addition to his musical career, he is also married to Kitty Aldridge.
