RATT

RATT is a hair/glam metal band from San Diego, California. Formed in the early 1980s, their classic line-up consisted of vocalist Stephen Pearcy, guitarists Warren DiMartini and Robbin "King" Crosby, bassist Juan Croucier, and drummer Bobby "Blotz" Blotzer. They played a significant role in the growing glam scene of Los Angeles during that time.

From 1984 to 1990, RATT released five commercially successful albums. However, as popular music tastes changed and guitarist Robbin Crosby battled heroin addiction, the band's fortunes declined. After substituting guitarist Michael Schenker for Crosby on tour, RATT released their final single "Nobody Rides for Free" in 1991 before disbanding.

In 1997, some members of RATT discussed a reunion but faced challenges due to drug addiction and health issues among certain members. The band experienced lineup changes over the years with varying levels of success. In 2009, they released the well-received album "Infestation." Despite tensions within the group leading to an indefinite hiatus in 2010 and subsequent departures by various members including Stephen Pearcy in 2014, RATT reunited under their original partnership in late 2016.
