XXXtentacion

Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, professionally known as XXXTentacion, was an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Born in Plantation, Florida on January 23, 1998, he spent most of his childhood in Lauderhill. After being released from a juvenile detention center, he began writing music and started his career in SoundCloud rap. This genre combines elements of lo-fi music with harsh 808s. Tragically, on June 18, 2018, at the age of 20, Onfroy was fatally shot during a robbery at a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The attackers stole a Louis Vuitton bag containing $50,000 before fleeing the scene in an SUV. Currently awaiting trial are four suspects who were arrested for their involvement.
