Remote Control Records

Remote Control was founded in 2001 by Harvey Saward (Shock Records' International A&R Manager for ten years) and Steve Cross (previously General Manager of a division of Festival Mushroom Records). Remote Control represents major international labels in Australia. Those labels include [l=Beggars Banquet], [l=XL Recordings], [l=4AD], [l=Mo Wax], [l=Mantra Recordings], [l=Wiiija Records], [l=Too Pure], [l=Matador], [l=Domino Recording Company Ltd.] and [l=Bella Union]. Distribution is primarily handled by [l=Inertia]. Remote Control started the sub-label [l=Dot Dash] exclusively for Australian artists in 2004.
