Ace

Ace Records is a UK label that was conceived in the 70s by Ted Carroll, Roger Armstrong, and Trevor Churchill. Originally selling secondhand 45s on a London market stall, they later set up Chiswick Records and released work by "pub rock" bands. As the 80s arrived, Ace decided to focus on the reissue market and became known as Ace Records of Camden Town. Today, Ace has established itself as a reputable name in the reissue market with various sub-labels catering to different musical styles.

With an extensive catalog spanning R&B, blues, soul, funk, jazz, rock 'n' roll, folk, country, punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, cajun,z ydeco, and world music,Ace offers something for every music enthusiast. In addition to their own releases,Ace frequently licenses and acquires labels like Modern Blues Recordings and Flair from the Bihari Brothers, reissuing original releases and new compilations across various formats.

It's worth noting that LP releases under Ace often feature different label designs but carry the same cat#; therefore,it's important to refer to images when submitting or purchasing these records.Ace continues to be a trusted source for timeless music, releasing carefully curated collections that celebrate diverse genres while preserving musical heritage.
