Stoney Lane is an inventive independent record label, growing out of a whole host of musical projects, collaborations, inventions, experiments, friendships, adventures and weird & wonderful ideas. Based in Birmingham, UK, they focus on distinctive and exciting new music crossing the worlds of jazz, contemporary classical, improvisation, and compelling world/roots influenced music.

Stoney Lane release and help to develop young UK musicians alongside internationally touring and established artists. They produce an ongoing programme of Stoney Lane artists at London’s King’s Place and also run the official Cheltenham Jazz Festival record store and emporium supporting independent musicians and labels.
