Tiger is the latest studio album from East London singer-songwriter Art Block. It’s a richly textured indie folk/alt-rock record that blends introspective lyricism with warm acoustic and folk instrumentation, atmospheric synths and evocative string arrangements. Collaborators include Marcus Hamblett playing vintage synths on 'Poorer Than Ever' and Joseph Lawrenson with lush string arrangements on 'Dandelion' and 'Journey' recorded at the Royal College of Music in London. Rhythmic dynamism is provided by drummer Raphael Bouchara with beautiful mixing by Wheeliemix. Production is warm and detailed, recorded across Super Symmetry Studios and The Premises in London and mastered by Justin Weis from Trakworx in San Francisco. The result is an album that feels reflective and heartfelt — rooted in traditional songwriting craft but enriched with layered sonic colour and emotional depth.
